Sweet Paws Rescue is one of the most successful and effective animal rescues in the United States. Since 2011 SPR has rescued over 10,000 puppies, dogs and cats from Mississippi and Alabama and transported them to New England for adoption.

THE PROBLEM
Sweet Paws wanted to connect their audience to the logistical challenges and the amount of volunteer work that goes into each of their transports. They wanted to make a video that would demonstrate just how much goes into rescuing dogs in the south and transporting them over 1,200 miles to be adopted in New England.
OUR SOLUTION
Votary Films created a video that documented the SPR transport process. Since we weren’t able to go to Mississippi and Alabama to document the rescue process, we decided to contextualize the realities of the South by incorporating actual voice messages the SPR rescue volunteers receive on a daily basis. This video received thousands of views on SPR’s social channels and they saw an immediate uptick in volunteer and donor involvement.
